This pathway is ideal for aspiring coaches who are age 16 and above. You commit to supporting the running of a team (ideally training and matches, but if you can only do one we can look at this). In return we will pay for your Introduction to Football Coaching qualification and provide a bespoke coaches development programme for you.

This pathway is ideal for aspiring coaches who are Under 16 years old. We will agree to the level of commitment that you can make, ensuring this does not interfere with other important commitments. Most likely you will be involved with a specific group as a coach, working alongside Head of Coaching Henry Brandon and the team/group coaches. There is lots of flexibility with this pathway and our aim is to offer an enjoyable and insightful first experience of football coaching.

This pathway is ideal for aspiring coaches over the age of 16 and who already have a football coaching qualification. We pay our Lead Coaches to run groups and teams, take matches and support other coaches at Gateshead Footy Stars. Our Lead Coaches also run holiday training programmes for our players and teams.
